Terms of Service

SubSleuth is a subscription-tracking service. We help you discover recurring charges on your accounts, get reminded before they renew, and find official cancellation pages. We do NOT cancel subscriptions on your behalf — you must complete cancellations on each service's own website. We do NOT process refunds — refunds are issued by the service that billed you.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use SubSleuth. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

SubSleuth offers the following plans (prices in USD):

• Plus — $12.99/month, $59.99/year, or $79.99 lifetime (one-time).
• Premium — $19.99/month, $89/year, or $119 lifetime (one-time).

Monthly and annual plans include a 3-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the listed price and renewed automatically until you cancel. Lifetime plans are charged in full at purchase and are non-recurring.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Cancelling SubSleuth itself: You may cancel your SubSleuth plan at any time from Settings → Profile → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges will occur.

Refunds: Monthly and annual SubSleuth subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. Lifetime purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not extensively used the service. Contact admin@subsleuth.online to request a refund.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the SubSleuth product — not the user's lifetime. If SubSleuth ceases operations, lifetime access ends at that point.

You agree not to:

• Use SubSleuth for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.
• Connect inboxes you do not own or are not authorized to access.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from SubSleuth.
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to abuse the service.
• Resell or sublicense SubSleuth access without our written permission.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, security measures, or rate limiting.

SubSleuth integrates with third-party services including Nylas (email), Google Gemini (AI), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

SubSleuth, the SubSleuth logo, Penny the mascot, and all related content, code, and trademarks are owned by SubSleuth and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of SubSleuth without our written permission. The subscription data you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate the service for you.

SubSleuth is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all subscriptions will be detected.

You are responsible for verifying cancellations on each service's own platform. SubSleuth tracking is not a substitute for confirmation from the billing party.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubSleuth, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of SubSleuth.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of SubSleuth shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid SubSleuth in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SubSleuth from any claim, demand, loss, or damages arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your misuse of the service.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms or fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use SubSleuth ends immediately; some sections of these Terms (Sections 7–10, 12) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of SubSleuth after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
